Orlando Scooter and Stroller Delivery: Your Arrival Checklist

Your flight, hotel and first park day may already be planned. One detail still deserves a place on your itinerary: when and where you will receive your rental scooter or stroller. A clear handoff plan helps you start your Orlando vacation with fewer last-minute calls.

Use this checklist before booking and again before you travel. It covers the practical details for hotels, resorts and vacation homes, plus the return plan you will want to make before departure day.

1. Choose rental dates around the whole trip

Think beyond your theme park tickets. Will you want a stroller for the walk from your room to transportation? Do you need your scooter for an evening outside the parks? Start with the first time you will actually need the equipment and the last time you will use it.

Then compare those times with your arrival and departure plans. A flight landing time is not the same as a hotel arrival time. Allow room for baggage collection, transportation, check-in and delays rather than scheduling the handoff immediately after landing.

Parkway Mobility offers mobility scooter rentals and single and double stroller rentals. Choose your dates online to see availability for your trip.

2. Confirm the exact property and meeting point

Use the full hotel or resort name and its street address. Large resorts can have several buildings, entrances and check-in areas. Confirm the meeting point with the property and Parkway rather than assuming the main entrance will work.

For a vacation home, check the complete address, unit number, any gate or visitor-entry requirements, and when your host allows access. Arrange access details privately with the team. A community clubhouse address may be different from the house where you will stay.

3. Make a direct handoff plan for Disney Resort hotels

For Parkway Mobility rentals at Disney Resort hotels, plan to be present for both delivery and pickup. Do not assume Bell Services can accept or return the equipment on your behalf.

Disney's official ECV rental information describes a separate unattended hotel-delivery arrangement for its featured provider, ScooterBug. That arrangement does not apply to a Parkway reservation. Check Parkway's confirmed handoff details before leaving for a park.

At other hotels and resorts, ask the property about its current procedures and confirm the arrangement with Parkway. Hotel policies can differ, so an unattended drop-off should never be assumed.

4. Match delivery and pickup to the available hours

Parkway's scheduled deliveries and pickups are available Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM–6:00 PM, and Saturday and Sunday, 8:00 AM–12:00 PM. Times are local to Orlando. Delivery fees are calculated by distance during booking.

If you arrive after those hours, contact the team before finalizing a plan that depends on an evening handoff. An early Monday rental may be delivered the previous evening only with prior confirmation and when the hotel permits it. Do not treat that possibility as an automatic booking option.

5. Use the handoff to check your equipment

Before the team leaves, check that you have the equipment and accessories on your reservation. Ask any questions about folding your stroller, operating your scooter or using the supplied charger. Follow the instructions for the specific model rather than instructions for a different rental you have used before.

Plan a suitable place to store the equipment when you return to your accommodation. Disney specifically reminds guests not to leave strollers or ECVs unattended in hotel corridors or hallways. Ask your property where storage is permitted.

If you are deciding between renting inside a park and keeping a stroller for your trip, Disney's official stroller rental page explains that its park-rented strollers must be returned before you leave. Consider the journeys outside the gates when choosing your option.

6. Plan the return before your last morning

Check the pickup date, time and location on your reservation against hotel checkout and airport transportation. Keep the equipment, charger and booked accessories together, and allow enough time to complete the agreed handoff before you leave.

If your flight or accommodation changes, tell Parkway as soon as possible. Request a revised arrangement instead of leaving equipment with a desk or at a property without confirmation.
